Hannah’s practice focuses on financial services and commercial litigation, strengthening Cavell Law’s capabilities in real estate litigation and business litigation matters. She represents mortgage and loan servicers, banks, auto and manufactured housing lenders, and real estate entities. Her work includes counseling clients on consumer financial services matters at both the State and Federal level.
Hannah has experience defending matters related to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act (CSPA), and related UDAAP laws. With a background in consumer debt collections, she brings valuable perspective to complex litigation matters.
Prior to joining Cavell Law, Hannah practiced at McGlinchey Stafford’s Cleveland Office, where she developed her expertise in financial services litigation. She also served as a Law Clerk for the City of Mentor Prosecutor’s Office and as an extern for the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. In addition, she gained experience as a benefit counselor with the Legal Aid of Western Ohio.
